Description:

Just 20 minutes from Hilo Airport, this charming "pagoda" is known to the owners as the "Temple
" since it was once used for meditation. It's now a beautiful, efficient three-room studio cottage
(10x20 studio space plus bath room) with a high ceiling, hardwood floor, tiled bathroom and kitchen.
Hawaiian print fabrics & Balinese touches decorate the interior.

Wake up to a variety of bird sounds and the surrounding paradise environment which has a lotus
pond, flowers, shrubbery, and trees throughout. Mini ponds around the property hold more lotus and
other water plants. Besides the lotus pond, other sculpture by the resident artist adorn some points
of interest in the property.

A "buffer" of about 1/2 to 1 acre of ohia trees and shrub landscape on either side give some more
space for privacy in this neighborhood of 1-acre lots. Drive right up to the guest house. We also have
a few good-natured hens (no roosters) who wander 'round.

Our location is centrally located to all East Hawaiian sights, i.e. Hilo, Pahoa, Volcano and points in
between. Driving distance to local beaches (Hilo, Pahoa areas), warm springs (Ahalanui Park) and
Champagne Ponds, Volcanoes National Park, etc. One of the best rates in the Hilo/Keaau/Pahoa area.

Our goal is for you and your party to have a comfortable, enjoyable stay in our affordable, clean,
charming guest house. Since starting in May 2003, we've had guests who want to stay here again
when they're back in the islands &/or want to refer us to their friends.

Addiitonal person is $7/nt. Housecleaning fee: $50 for 4 days or weekly rates; $100 (one-time charge) for
monthly rate. $100 held check (refundable security deposit). Cash, check, traveler\\\'s checks accepted.
Credit Cards through PayPal.
Cancellations usually require 2 month advance notice.
Renters understand they\\\'ll be asked to sign a liability waiver.
